Tom Moore was a national hero, he helped raise millions for nhs and help so many. He will be remembered and treasured by all

Capt Sir Tom has a very special place in my heart, so much like my late father,cheeky,and very, very likeable. The way he walked with his trolley reminds me of my father walking with his. God bless u Sir Tom.

What a wonderful man he was the epitome of good old English spirit. Without people like Sir Tom Moore this country would not be the place it is now and we would be in the clutches of darkness. It saddens me that Sir Tom has passed and wish our countries sincerest condolences to his family. We thank him for his service in the army and in life. We should all look upon Tom as the way we should all act in the future to make this world a better place.

Inspirational man, he helped make the lockdown bearable, Captain Sir Tom puts the great into Great Britain. Heartfelt thoughts to his family and friends. Another bright star in the sky tonight.

Captain Tom was of the generation that truly lived through terrible times. The generation of real heroes, at his age walking to raise money to help all of us just showed what a great man he was. A sad loss to us all.
