ST VALENTINE'S DAY

A rose - some wine - chocolates too
To say - I really do love you!
But all I really need to see -
Is someone who loves me for me.
A book, a ring - a card in red -
Breakfast while I laze in bed -
But all I want - the one I miss
To give a hug - a welcome kiss,
Is you!
An ode - a song - a well drawn heart
They are the warmth - ‘tis time
But let me repeat - for I must speak -
All I need forever is you!
So candle light meals - or a bottle of wine
Can be left on the shelf high and wide
And as long as you’re near - all love will abide -
As we walk close together -
Side by side.

Remembering each and every day......

It's hard to imagine it's been 2 years,
The time has flown by so fast.
And there's moments when eyes are filled with tears,
Our memories of you last.

But there's plenty of smiles and tears of joy,
Such good times we had.
And now you're in Heaven, it's the real McCoy,
Yep - life after death ain't bad.

Miss you mum, gone but certainly never forgotten. xxx
