This is so sad and a huge loss not only to Ann , Eammon , Rachel , Mabel and the rest of his loving family but also to the community and all the organisations and people he helped. We will always remember the lovely verse he sang at Eammon and Rachel’s wedding, it was so touching. Chris will be so missed but not forgotten and we are sending our thoughts and love to his family and loved ones.

Chris was an amazing mentor to me for over 25 years. His knowledge and passion for the job was inspiring and helped shape me into the social worker that I am today. He will be a huge loss to our profession.I will miss him greatly. My condolences to the family

I knew Chris for a number of years, from when I was a Social Work Student to being qualified & having supervision from him. He was a wonderful teacher, manager, colleague & friend. He was never afraid to challenge, but also had a wonderful sense of humour. I will miss you Chris. RIP. X
