Ken was admired for his commitment and tireless work on the aid programme, including two overseas postings, and for his friendship. During their devoted life together he had wonderful support from Maureen. They were good friends to anne and me and to many others.

Farewell to a good man and condolences to his family

We have so many happy and fond memories of spending time with Ken on visits to the UK at intervals over the years. The trip down to Bruton for a day or two was always a delight, and Ken's quiet, gentle and intelligent manner will always be remembered. Our thoughts to Maureen at this time. With lots of love from Cape Town. Mike & Wendy.
