Grandad i know I wasn’t the biggest fan of walking when I was younger on our summer holidays but you would always walk with me behind everyone else helping me break in my new walking boots reassuring me that the walks aren’t going to last forever and I would be okay haha

You taught me endless knowledge and strength and if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t be the person who I am today. Its impossible for me to put into words how I am feeling and how much I will miss you I just hope I can come home soon to say goodbye properly alongside our family xx

Grandad, I will always remember spending the school holidays in a caravan with you and Rob up in the lakes. Eating pies out of a tin and baked beans was living it up! As much as it rained and was cold I really enjoyed our time up there.

I have many memories I will always treasure. You were a great person and I’m proud you were my Grandad.
