To all of Dave's family, our heartfelt condolences.

Our family had the great privilege of spending time with Dave on his many trips to New Brunswick, Canada when he came to visit Jackie and family. Always he had for us a big hug and smile coming and going and loved to sit and catch up over dinners, while walking the dogs or sharing a cold one in the backyard. He was a very kind and gentle soul with interesting stories, an inquisitive mind and a lovely laugh. We will all miss him dearly!

On some of his trips we also spent time with Robert and Rachel and Sarah, Wayne and Hannah who were visiting as well. His beautiful family is a wonderful tribute to his memory. He always spoke with such thoughtfulness and love for each of them.

In 2011, Jackie's family and Dave travelled with us to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia to tour and to see my family. He left a wonderful lasting impression on all of my siblings.

We will always treasure the Christmas eve's, the hot summer days, the sightseeing trips, the many dinners and the conversations we had with Dave. Jackie, Fraser and Andrew - thank you for sharing Dave with us. He will always hold a special place in our hearts...will always give us wonderful, warm memories.

Dad, I will miss our weekly FaceTime calls, talking about nothing in particular but knowing that you were always there every week. You were always there for me no matter what, it’s hard being so far away and not saying goodbye to you. But you will always be in my heart and thoughts. We love you lots, Jac, Fraser and Andrew xx
