To my beautiful, kind and caring Mum. We shared so many adventures together over the years, from our long walks in the countryside, to our special invitation to the opening of The International Bomber Command Centre at Lincoln. We had afternoon tea at Bawtry Hall, former home to No 1 Group Bomber Command, and your base during the war where you met dad. We have laughed together and your gentle wit will be greatly missed. My constant companion and precious Mum, I will miss you so much. X
