Steve, it was such a shock you leaving us, you are a top man, and it was a real pleasure knowing you, I just used to love seeing you playing in the band, it was great to be able to talk to you, you are a true friend and will never be forgotten, not just by carol and myself, but by your family and all your friends and fans of the band, R.I.P. Steve.

Steve, this is such devestating news for you and your daughter. Your a man of the stage, your funeral will be your last stage performance. I hope it goes how you truly wanted it to go. I hope there's no regrets. I will pray for your daughters recovery on your behalf. I can't loose you both. Rest in peace steve xx

Steve Bateman. (affectionately referred to as Scarecrow) A peaceful, polite jovial man and the quirky bass player with our band "Jive Express" He lived for his Family, his animals and his music. He left us so suddenly without the chance to say goodbye, but he will live for ever in our hearts and minds with great affection. Deepest sympathy to Tricia, Lexi and relatives
