Roy was a longstanding friend going back to the Lafford days.

I still can't believe that my amazing step-dad is no longer with us. He has been a father figure to me since I was 6 years old and I couldn't ask for a better man to have guided me through life and taught me the values I have to this day. Roy, I will miss you so so much, thank you for everything you have done for me and I love you very much xxxxx
