Oh my, there are too many words to describe what a wonderful man you was, truly unique. Thankyou for being the greatest grandad to me and great grandad to my children and there children, you leave such treasured memories that will last forever. Love and miss you so much

Rip Peter

Following a posting to RAF Manston in October 1979, I soon met Peter and we became firm friends thereafter, and I can honestly say he was like a second father, giving sound advice and motivation to achieve goals. A kind, caring and witty man he will be remembered with great fondness to all of those that met this remarkable man. His parting saying was, "If I don't see you through the week, I'll see you through the window" R.I.P wee man.

Grandad, you are greatly missed and loved by so many. You will always be in my heart. Love you lots xxxx
