Steve, I knew you as a calm, quiet man, reserved in his ways but firm in his convictions and values. I will remember the acts of kindness you gave to your grandchildren the CD you made of Joseph reading the Gruffalo for my sons first Christmas and the DVDs you gave to Evie because you thought she’d like them. Your impact as a husband, father and grandfather is evident in the depth of loss your family feel. I will do what I can to hold their hands and help them remember you fondly.
