On behalf of my beautiful mother Marjorie Iris Cook, who would give the coat off her back to a passing stranger and who would buy the whole pub a drink and have nothing left for the rest of the week. Love always mum and I hope the charity will help lots of people with this and the many donations they are about to receive. MiriamXX

All things to all people
Cartwheeling in the garden
Dancing after dark,
Walking into a room,
And lighting up a spark.
Love always, Miriam xx

Margie,

I cannot put into words how desperately I miss you. A star stopped shining the day you left us.

I keep listening to music that reminds me of you, and every time I find a new song that you would have loved, I play it extra loud in hopes that you’ll hear it.

I love you so deeply, and wish I could wrap my arms around you again.

Thank you for the way you brought me up. You really were the best mum in the world. Thank you for being so laid back and doing things like letting my friends stay indefinitely, encouraging me to be the best person that I could be. Your kindness, empathy for others, compassion for those less fortunate or in pain are just the tip of the iceberg of traits that you handed down to me. I can't thank you enough for it all. I take comfort thinking of you having a huge party with all the late great musicians up there with you.
I miss you mummy and I will think about you everyday. I love you mummy xx 💖
