No more “Morning Maestro!” No more garden centre trips to buy red geraniums & tomatoes. No more toasted bacon sandwiches on the way to Saundersfoot. But many wonderful memories of the times I spent in your delightful company. Special Branch misses you Peter…… Steve & Heather xx

A good friend who will be sadly missed

We would like to share our deepest condolences with Karen, Will & James.
Peter was a Board Member at Swansea Building Society from 1977 to 2007, an incredible commitment to the Society. He became Deputy Chairman of the Society and appointed me as CEO in 2001.
I think it would be fair to say that if it was not for Peter and his efforts over 30 years there would probably be no Society as we know it today.
My own father died in 2007 and Peter knew that, and always kept in touch to make sure I was ok or if I needed someone to talk to. I will never forget that and would go as far as to say if it was not for Peter, I would not be where I am today.
Our thoughts are with Karen, Will and James at these very sad times.

Peter was a legendary character and much loved by us all. His contribution to life, the law and bonhomie will always be appreciated and sadly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Karen, William and James who will grieve but equally will have the fondest memories and great pride in all that Peter was and did during his very full and fulfilling life. With friends we look forward to raising a glass in his honour when time and opportunity permits; the kind of thing Peter himself would have thoroughly enjoyed!
