Mum you were someone l could talk to that no one can replace, you were someone l could laugh with till tears ran down my face. Next time we meet will be at heaven's door when l see you standing there l won't cry anymore l will put my arms around you and kiss your smiling face then the pieces of my broken heart will fall back into place.

those little things l took for granted of precious moments way back when are all l have to cling to they never seemed important then, the dreams we dreamed together are like footprints in the sand the winds of change have swept them away no trace can now be found l'm living now in silence with only echo's from the past voices in the distance from a heaven that's so vast

mum sometimes l turn to smile and talk to you but you are not here with me yet sometimes l still see you in your favourite chair then l sigh and realise you are no longer there you are sleeping never waking but your spirit was set free so all my love mum you were my best friend and l am left with beautiful memories that will last till the very end

you were my amazing mum you were loving and brave and now it seems so very wrong you lie in your grave as l would have given everything yet there was noting l could give to spare you from your illness l prayed that you would live now you are at rest and peace there is no pain anymore so sleep well my dearest mum my heart still aches you've gone but your spirit is immortal and your legacy will live on
