The 17 years I had with you were so precious and I will treasure all the memories we had forever. You truly were one of a kind🤍I still don’t believe it to this day and struggle to come to terms with how I will ever cope without you? You have been the one who rocked me to sleep when I was a little girl, wiggled your false teeth at me and sung “wee cheeky birdie” at the top of your voice. You were always known at the school and nursery gates and created a massive impression on anyone you’d ever meet. You were the kindest, funniest and craziest woman I have ever met and that's the reason why it makes me feel so incredibly proud to call you my nan🦋 I think about you 24/7 and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss your strong Scottish accent shouting at the dogs for scratching your legs, saying “I’m not hungry to tell you the truth” (even though you said you were starving not long before) and getting in all the goodies for us when I used to stay with you when Nan and grandad was away😢 there are so many things I wish I had said to you before you passed and I love you is definitely one of them, I wish I had smothered you with hugs and kisses and never let you go! It breaks my heart that we will never see you again and our family feels so incomplete and quiet without you here🤍 I hope grandad is looking after you up there and I hope I’m making you proud! until we meet again nan xxx

Betty, what a character, you always made laugh with your no filter personality. Like the time you mocked my haircut saying "You should have gone to the Turkish barbers down the road, they'd have done a good job" I have so many fond memories of you in the relatively short time I got to know you properly. From your charcoal chicken wing fiasco, to me spending 3 hours cooking you a nice meal when you stayed, for you to want to eat rubbish instead, haha. You always made me laugh! You were so generous, and kind, and I'll never forget that. Lennox will miss you, but i'll make sure he doesn't forget what an amazing nan you was to him. We will all miss you and your big personality. Sleep tight x

Nanny Betty to all! I have fond memories of nanny Betty and her lovely dog (sure it was Pepsi?), with her strong Scottish accent, she took no shiz and you knew to behave around her. You could see the love she had for my friend, her granddaughter Charlene and her little sis Danielle. Nanny Betty was loved by so many and I know she was a rock of the family home x my thoughts and prayers are with Sandra and the whole family as they all mourn a momentous loss x

Betty was a wonderful matriarch to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Always looking over them proudly before delivering a line which make you laugh out loud. She will remain always in memories and hearts. ♥️
