It is with great sadness that I leave this last messagešŸ˜„ my life could have been moulded around that wonderful coach house he built. Was my absolute favourite place in the world. If I’m honest I really wanted to turn it in to a small restaurant!.
Pipe dreams are made by those around you, an Marjorie with her ham an tomato sauce sandwiches an grandad with his snowballs made a place to be overly indulged an surprised.
I had been there again with my Indian girlfriend Baljit. She wondered why he called me Simon. I wish I had spent more time with him an Marjorie, seems sometimes life is better when simple.
I will miss him greatly, as I loved him so very much.
I am so sad, but memories some how will be there for ever. R.I.p grandad

part 2:
In August 2013, my dear Keith sadly passed away and my visits to Five Oak Green became scarce. I did keep in touch by mail though, as over the years, I have come to love Marjorie and Syd as much as my own family. The current Covid-19 pandemic did not help matters and I now regret that my visits were so few and that it has been so long since I last saw Syd. On the other hand, I will always remember him the way I first met him: warm-hearted, always cheerful and optimistic, intelligent, hard working and modest and most of all a most loving and thoughtful husband to my sister-in-law.
Dear Syd, I will keep you in my heart forever.
