There's not enough time in the world for me to explain how amazing my Grandma was. But I will try! She was always so supportive and kind to me. I discovered and learned so many hobbies and skills from her that to this day I continue to enjoy. She also taught me so many life lessons and always with the utmost patience and kindness.

Grandma was the sweetest, most caring soul I've ever known. She was the kind of person you could always rely on to be there for you and to help you when you needed it most. And she always had some freshly baked delicious sweet treats for us to enjoy every time we would visit!

Thank you Grandma for being there for me. Thank you for helping me discover the joys of cooking, baking, embroidery, gardening and so much more.

I'm a better person for having known you and I will always cherish the times we shared together.

Your granddaughter, Jessica xox

Where to begin - my Auntie Doreen was inspiring, always smart and so very talented at anything and everything she choose to do, she always worked hard and always seemed to be busy creating something wonderful whether it was cooked, sewn or grown she was such a clever lady. I remember whole family Boxing Day teas, shared many wonderful Sunday lunches after sleepovers with my favourite cousin Sandra as well as being invited to many family picnics and days out. There was always a welcoming smile and cup of tea ready when you went round and she was always interested to know how me and my family were or what we were up to. I know David, Sandra, Lum, Chris, Matt and Jess, her brothers and sister Derek, Leonard and Janet and extended family along with her many friends will miss her very much. As my daughter said ‘she was just a lovely lady’.
Auntie Doreen may you rest in peace, God Bless. Xx
