I was saddened to hear of Barbara 's death which must be a great loss to all her family and friends. I got to know her via rambling and the two of us climbed Snowdon some time ago to raise funds for Marie Curie nurses. I also joined the group to walk part of the Pilgrim's Way from Rowen to Ll anfairfechan but I am just highlighting two of the many walks we did with a group. Although I am no longer an active walking member I recall many pleasurable walks in her company.. She was a lovely lady, quiet, generous, and unassuming and will leave a void in many hearts.Fred ( Speck)
