We can’t put into words how saddened we are to have lost you.
We will miss your presence, your wicked humour; coming to ours to watch the match, always greeting us with, “hi friends”. We will miss your loyalty and kindness.
We have been lucky to have you in our lives the last 12 years. We became neighbours and quickly became friends.
We can look back and smile at our memories of you and the good times we shared.

Our hearts are in a million pieces Ryan. You’ve been lighting up my life ever since you were 5 with your smile, your wit, your laughter and your kindness. I learnt so much from you about loyalty and being true to your principles. And I’m going to miss everything about you. Our chats about every subject under the sun, and about nothing much. Going to the match and celebrating goals with you. Your ability to convey mood, emotion, validation and practical arrangements in a two word text! Going out for breakfast and putting the world to rights.
You did your best to protect us all from the horrors of your illness and your treatment. But nothing could protect us from this.
