Grandma,

I’m so glad I got to speak with you one last time before my 3 month deployment away at sea. I did not think that it would be the last time we would speak, but that is why we have to make the most of what we had. I will forever remember what you would always tell me just before I went away to sea “remember to keep yourself safe and look after number one!”
