The journey began in Carnakelly and branched it's way to Esker and Kingsland.
The story was told of our great, great grandmother leaving the light on in Carnakelly for Mark to see his way home across the fields from Mary wards pub in kiltulla.
Emigration brought Martin,Maisie,Vincent to the UK and Birmingham.Christy was home in Kingsland and passed far too soon.
Brigid,Anne,Mark,Paul,Eamonn and Elaine you are in our thoughts.

Dear Bridget & family. So sorry to hear of Martin’s passing RIP. You both were always great to visit gloves every year without fail. He will be missed.
Thinking of you all.

My sincere sympathies to Bridget, Ann, Mark,Paul, Eamon and Elaine. Martin was one of life's great gentlemen. He was kind and friendly to all everyone he met. I will cherish the memories of him arriving in Gloves with his family each year in his camper van when we were young. His passing will leave a huge void but you can look back proudly on his life and his legacy. A Monaghan by name and a Monaghan by nature
