R. I. P. Aunty Barbara,
We will miss you so much but will smile when we think about all the happy memories of you.
You had the most wonderful way with words and I used to love chatting with you and reading your letters. Your love of life and sense of humour were truly inspirational.
In our sadness, we take comfort that you are together again with Uncle Ivor eternally.
All our Love,
Della, Gary and Hannah Xxx

We’re so very sad to say goodbye to our lovely friend, Barbara. We’ve been friends for many, many years and have wonderful memories of time spent with her. She was glamorous, multi talented, artistic and creative. Barbara took great pride in her home and she only had to look at flowers for them to bloom. She loved a good chat and Garth reminds me that we once talked on the phone through two entire football matches ! David and his family meant the world to her and she’ll be missed so much by them all. We’re grateful to have been able to visit Barbara over the last few months and found her sense of humour still intact. Fly high dear friend, you’ll be a twinkling star.

Barbara was the true definition of the word Lady. No one was ever as splendid, even when undertaking mundane tasks such as cooking and washing. She was always immaculate, but like a proper Mum had a great sense of fun. Only a person as special as this could put up with the adventures of pesky kids (David & Jon), especially the one entitled "Night Out with the Bed Sheets"! Farewell dearest Barbara, sleep tight. With all our love, Rachael, Jon, Nathan, Thomas & Grace XXXXX
