Devastated to hear to hear of Alison’s passing. Fondly remembering our picnics in St Thomas Park with our young boys and the day trips and nights out with the ‘ole gang. Thinking of you Rob and your family at this difficult time. Much love from me and my boys (Andrew and Michael Baker)

Ali was a young, newly qualified EN nurse when she joined us at Redhills. She enjoyed her job and got well with patients and staff. Part of her job was to meet the ambulances bringing in new patients where she would meet ambulance staff. One ambulance staff in particular was called Rob Simpson and Ali was smitten with him and everyone knew it. NA Jean Trebilcock saw Rob pull up one day in his ambulance and Jean took it upon herself to take Ali down to the ambulance bay and finally introduce her to Rob. They went on their first date and their romance was one for the ages. They fell in love, married, and had two sons.

It was such a pleasure working with Ali and having known her in my life. Rest peacefully, Ali, love Maureen Patch. xx
