A whole year ago I posted this tribute and it still doesn’t feel like you’re gone. The amount life has changed and how many things you won’t be part of breaks my heart, but I know you’ll be looking down on us all. Miss you Brucey still more than ever ❤️

Merry Christmas Eve Brucey! I miss you taking over the tele, eating all the Christmas snacks and being as excited as the kids for the big day. Feels weird not having to look for a razor for you. It’s going to be hard and strange without you tomorrow. I hope you’re in heaven with the largest bag of nuts and you’ve circled all your films. We’ll be missing you here more than you could ever know. Love you and miss you millions ❤️❤️❤️

You think as time goes on life gets easier without a loss, and it probably will in time. But for now I don’t think it’s possible to miss you more. I’d do anything to come to Mamas and see you watching goggle box or for you to tell me your stories about the mines or to hold your hand again. Life is strange without you. I wish I could share all the exciting things that life has given since you left us and I miss your reassurance whenever a worry comes up. I hope you’ve made some progress on Gods motorbike and haven’t been chatting to all your pals all this time! (I bet you have). Missing you more than ever. I’ll keep looking at photos to see your smile again but I do miss the real thing. Love you millions Brucey ❤️
