Such a trooper I'll never forget my memory of sharing the bus with you when we carried the Olympic torch, you were so humble and also very funny, I was so nervous, you were very calm…Hull was honoured to call you one of its own.

Hull is a poorer place after the loss of our beloved BEE LADY🐝.
Jean you were an inspiration to everyone who met you. Your beautiful smile and loving, caring nature shone through.
Rest in peace, bless you. Reunited with your loving husband and parents.

Jean was an inspiration to Hull and will never be forgot.
All the fundraising she did to help the Aged UK and dressing up as a bee lifted so many peoples spirts when she was in the town centre.
