Rest in peace lovely grandma, and thanks for the endless happy memories. We will miss you and I’m so glad the boys have memories of you to keep with them. Lots of love, Harriet, Chris, Jos and Evan xxx

I first met Shirley Mills almost 60 years ago when I was three. I lived across the road in Redland, Bristol, and fast became best friends with Sarah. Over the years, Shirley walked a gang of young children to and from Primary school, fed me tea more times than I can remember, and was always interested in the lives of others. She was a compassionate listener and always had a kind word. She lived a life serving others and will be missed by many.
