Can’t believe a year has passed as we approach the anniversary of your funeral mam. Words can’t express how much we miss you, there is a huge hole and void in our lives where you fitted in perfectly. So much has happened in this year which I’m sure you are aware of; some not so good and times when we would have always reached out to you for support and guidance- I still did only just remembering you weren’t there in person! I hope you are at peace with Dad and no longer in pain but our chain is broken and what I would give to have you back- you were price less x Susan xx

Hi Gran,
well after almost three years of not being able to do my raising money in the normal way due to Covid we finally were able to get back to face to face fundraising yesterday. Mum roped in Aunty Lynne, Caitlin, Channon and Dave to help me. I had a Teddy tombola stall and my Eden's homemade gift and crafts stall. We decided to split the charities this year just for you. So the Teddy tombola was for the British Heart Foundation and the other stall for PoTS UK. We did really well in just under two hours.
I know the money is too late to help you but it will help them to keep helping others but more importantly continue to do their research!.

On behalf of Pat Huddleston- Aunty Pat sent a cheque to me and Lynne care of mam's house in place of flowers as she was unable to attend mam's funeral due to her own health and high risk of catching covid. Aunty Pat was like a sister to mam and Aunty Ann. I have taken the cheque for £50 to the British Heart Foundation shop at Morpeth.

Still can't quite believe mam has gone, and even harder to believe she has died in the same circumstances as dad. They are together again now though after 29 years apart. I can't express in words how much I am going to miss her laugh, her smile and her endless chat messages. Love you loads mam, Lynne xx

At mam's funeral today, November 2nd 2021 (Irene Dixon) we kindly requested that there were family flowers only but in lieu of flowers friends and other family members could make a donation to the British Heart Foundation. We chose this charity as both Mam and Dad have died very suddenly from a cardiac arrest#. On both occasions we were unaware that they had heart conditions. It's funny how they both died of the exact same thing 29 nine years apart!

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kind and generous donations today. We have put the cash into Susan's bank account and paid via Mam's tribute page to give the money donated. The total donated between the chapel and the celebration of Mam/Irene's life at Pegswood cub came to the grand total of £167.10
