Remembering lots of happy times in our youth with you and Des, although some are a bit foggy - maybe something to do with all that water we drank!!! If ever you need company, I'm only a phone call away. Lots of love from Sandra and Jim xx

Oh Des
How you will be missed. You were always there for me and the girls whether it was to say good morning , to tell us a story , crack a joke or to support us with our ongoing list of jobs. You helped us make our house a home whether that was you putting together some furniture, moving the gates , building a bed or helping to create the Stacey’s bar. Whenever you helped you always came with a smile and would entertain us for hours. Your smile was contagious and you would have us laughing for hours without even meaning to. You did so much for me and the girls and we will forever be grateful for having a neighbour like you who became a friend. Me and the girls will miss you! ❤️

Heartbroken at the loss of my Uncle Des. The man who carried me 5000 miles on his shoulders as a child around Hunstanton. You’ll never be forgotten Uncle Des. Love you millions. ❤️❤️❤️😢

Uncle Des was like a second Dad to me and my brother Chris when we were kids He was always the life and soul of the party and we spent many happy holidays away with him and my Auntie Jan. He has left us with many happy memories that will last a lifetime and some not so great memories of him trying to convert us to his dreadful taste in music. His passing will leave a huge hole in many peoples lives, he was indeed a character, once met never forgotten. My thoughts go out to my Auntie Jan and the rest of Des's family and friends at this terrible time. God bless you Des, you were truly one in a million!
