So sorry for the loss of your amazing dad Mandy and Jayne, and Mary for the loss of your wonderful husband. I will always remember his banter and sharp tongue and eating his best ham and peanuts after nights out with Mandy not to mention the taxi lifts he used to give us whilst beeping his horn at everyone and anyone in his way. Rest in peace papa F xx

Sending sincere and heartfelt condolences to the entire family at this difficult time. Pete was one of the best, fiercely protective and supportive of his family and a great guy to spend time with even if you’re on the receiving end of his sharp tongue!! His wit, straight talking character, humour and put downs are legendary!! Plus we all know what a fighter he was in all ways, he’s at peace, at rest and out of all pain. Heaven has gained one of life’s true gents xx

Peter, a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather, a great friend to many and a well respected colleague to those that worked with him and those he worked for. They certainly broke the mold when when he came into the world and the world it a sadder place without him.
A more committed no nonsense, no compromise straight talking man you will ever meet, the guy was a hero. In the last year he never once complained or moaned and no one ever saw him feeling sorry for himself, he simply battled on fighting the illness every step of the way.
It has been an honour and a privilege to be your friend and son in law, forever in our hearts
