My Uncle Jim, an incredible man who taught me that the many challenges we face can be overcome. A self appointed navigator through the streets of Leicester, a phenomenal mind for maths and the man who long ago tried to teach me how to play chess. I will miss our lunch dates enjoying a glass of wine whilst you retold tales of fond memories and your ‘Victorian upbringing’. Loved and missed, Sally xxx

Was thinking about Jimmy only last week. I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. My condolences to the whole family. How a lifetime passes so quickly. I still remember him catching the bus to Mill Hill Sch. then a few years later finding him living a few doors away from me again, this time in High Wycombe. R.I.P Jimmy. - George Bent
