Very sad to hear of David's passing. I Hadn't seen David for many years. He was always a good friend to me at school.

First sailed with Dave in 1993 when I was a Junior Engineer... he was a great mentor & a great shipmate, and I learned a lot from him. Serious at work and fun loving off work, with a great sense of subtle humour, Anshoo & I will miss him. We both have very fond memories of sailing with him.

We have met you Jayne, William, Steven, Miles or Kathryn, but our prayers are with you in these difficult times that you will be going through. Warm hugs for the whole family.

A fantastic uncle with a wonderful personality, as big as his height, who will be sorely missed by us all x
