So sad to hear this. I was looking for someone else who I heard had died and stumbled on this. She was a wonderful woman and a valued member of our Residents Association. RIP Vera. Much loved woman.

Fondest memories of a dear friend, Vera - she will be greatly missed.

I'm truly sorry to hear of Vera's passing. 97 is a grand age but I honestly thought that if anyone was going to get the Royal Telegram, Vera would. I've not seen Vera for a number of years, but I remember sparkling conversations with her and Ron, and then Vera after Ron had died. A lovely couple, and a lovely lady. My sincere condolences to all family and friends, and may they both Rest In Peace.
