Such a shock to read a tribute to Karen today in our Addenbrookes bulletin. I had the pleasure of meeting Karen and occasionally working with her. Also, we had the odd chat when at M&S. She was a lovely nurse and I am so very pleased to have known her, walked and worked with her. Her smile reflected her beauty within. So you see, she was a colleague and I feel a great loss today. I didn’t know she was ill. I am so sorry and want to express my condolences to those who knew her and loved her. I hope some comfort can come from happy memories at this time of loss. It is a great loss.

Dearest Karen,
the past 30 years knowing you has been lovely and we will treasure the memories.
Your zest for life,
Your chattiness, kindness and that smile that could light up any room, will be truly missed but never forgotten.
You were a strong independent mother who raised three strong independent daughters.
May departed loved ones embrace you again and guide you in heaven.
Until the next time we meet again.
Love Marina & Haley

Dearest Karen,
We hold you in our hearts and memories forever. Calling round our family home with your lovely Dad, Uncle Bernard all those years ago. You have been and always will be, a very special cousin and most importantly a friend. I will miss you at our Pleasance girls lunches, but you will be there in spirit. I remember being so proud when you qualified as a nurse, a brave task to embark on in your 40s. We have been blessed to have you in our lives.
lots of love Julie, Andy, Alex & Charlotte, Charlotte & Olli. XXX

Taken far too early. My dear sister Karen, I knew you for 61 years. I think of you every day, I remember our happy childhood days going to our Norfolk Summer holidays and sharing our rides on seaside bicycles.
In my heart forever little sister.
Gary.
