I send my condolences to Pauls family. I only met Paul a few times, and spent time with him fishing for Salmon. He had a generous nature and was keen to pass on his fishing knowledge and to lend his tackle. I enjoyed my time with him and will always remember his good nature, quite intelligence and wit. I was looking forward to enjoying his company on future trips. He will be missed.

Mr Stanley, you were a fantastic surgeon and trainer like no other. You kept us entertained with your wit and anecdotes. Thank you for teaching me everything you know especially anatomy, I don’t think I’ll ever forget the brachial plexus again. It was an honour to be one of your trainees. - Shenbana B

I am so sorry to hear this news . My happiest days of my career was in the plastics department. I remember working with Paul a true gentleman and friend too. My thoughts are with his friends family and work colleagues xx
