I have so many fond memories of Lewis. He was such a wonderful character and always made everyone laugh. So pleased we visit Ann and Lewis in Spain many years ago. Out thoughts are with Ann and family at this sad time. RIP Gringo xx

My dear brother in law Lewis. Heartbreaking. He made my sister Ann so happy. Totally devoted to each other. You’ll be sorely missed Lewis but your star will always shine bright 😢💔

Loved Lewis at BT, great guy, funny, intelligent and a gentlemen. He thought in Portuguese but could speak and tell great funny stories in many languages. I used to really enjoy a pint with him at break times in the Royal Oak or if I was lucky enough to sit next to him at work.
God bless Ann, RIP Lewis, a good friend to me at BT and many many others throughout his life.
