Sending love to Emma's family 💗
Gone far too soon 😞
I've been privileged to have Emma as a close 'mummy friend' these last 6 years - we've navigated the challenging early years of motherhood together with bleary eyed baby groups comparing how little sleep we'd had the night before, her unrivalled breastfeeding support, endless WhatsApp messages offering advice and solidarity, and Emma always generously offered up her house to get messed up time and time again by other kids so us mums could hang out with a cuppa or glass of wine!
Emma's always been there with her listening ear, practical advice and if she didn't know the answer to something, she'd be the first to find it out and share the information. I never thought I'd meet someone who could out-do me on the amount of stuff required for a successful camping trip! Not just her organisation, amazing lists and superior kit impressed me on our last camping holiday but also her motivation and ability to look on the bright side of life. Even with her cancer diagnosis, her positivity and ability to look for silver linings on some very dark clouds has been inspirational over the last year.
Emma's list of positive attributes is as long as her camping list! But to pick a few - her kindness, sense of humour, intelligence, level headedness, patience, generosity, optimism and attentiveness have made her a very special friend and I can't quite believe she's no longer here, but she will live on in our hearts forever 💗.
In place of a charitable donation we are arranging for Emma's favourite tree, a weeping willow to be planted and looked after on a lovely site in the Brecon Beacons.

I will always think of you when the sun shines, of the time we've spent together camping, on the beach, at parks, at the children's birthday parties, having picnics and BBQs but mainly the many relaxed hours we've spent in your garden or in the playroom with the sun streaming through the doors. You were always there to offer advice, a shoulder to cry on and as an amazing friend to confide in and laugh with. I love you and I miss you soo much xxxx
