Funeral Notices Thrilled to be Exhibiting at the NFE 2022
Published 08/06/2022
The largest trade show for the funeral sector, The National Funeral Exhibition 2022 (NFE 2022), is due to take place Friday 10th - Sunday 12th June 2022, at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire. Funeral Notices are delighted to be exhibiting at the event. Come and see us at the NFE 2022 and allow us to demonstrate our online tribute and donation service. The traditional funeral notice is changing, with families expecting Funeral Directors to provide them with a digital tribute fit for their immediate needs. Join us at the event to understand how we can work together to ensure we are able to support families in their grief whilst empowering Funeral Directors to meet this changing need by partnering with them to provide tributes and donations for their own website, connecting them with the incredible audience that visits funeral-notices.co.uk every day. Funeral Notices Account Managers Rob Stebbing, Allan Tate and Helen Hiley will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about funeral notices. Our Account Managers will be joined at the event by Funeral Notices Manager Sarah Welton and Director Darren Minns. We’ll have some freebies to take away, space for you to take a seat and relax and plenty of time to speak with you one on one if you’d like. Sunday 12th June is family day, so we will have something to keep the children entertained too. You can find us on Stand 289 in Hall 2.

Published 30/05/2022
It's nice to put a face to a name, our Meet the Team blog series does just that. As part of Reach Plc, funeral-notices.co.uk have been publishing notices in local newspapers for over 100 years. Sarah Welton has been part of the team for more than 22 years and in that time has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge in both the media and funeral industries. Sarah began her career working for the Hull Daily Mail in a sales advertising role and has progressed within the business ever since. Sarah is mum to two boys and successfully juggles work and home life, leaving little time for relaxation. When opportunity allows she enjoys nothing more than catching up with her family or switching off with a good Netflix binge. Sarah manages the Funeral Notices team which is part of the Contact Centre, overseen by Director Darren Minns.

Can I have a personalised coffin?
Published 16/05/2022
During the pandemic, deaths were commonly being reported by the media as merely a number or a statistic, and it became almost too easy for them to forget that behind every number was an individual person with their own likes, dislikes, hobbies, and friends. A funeral can be a time when we remember the individual by playing their favourite music, sharing our favourite memories of them, or just looking over old pictures of their happiest times. Now there is even the option of having a personalised coffin that really shows off their personality, and we thought we would share a few of our favourites with you here.
