DAWKINS Reg 30.01.1930 - 12.04.2020 Died at Abbeydale Nursing Home after a short illness (not Covid-19), aged 90 years. Much loved husband of June and father to Louise. Reg served his national service with the RAF then worked at Rolls Royce as a draughtsman and then as a maths lecturer at Derby College. Reg was best known for his love of music and brass bands. A talented cornet player, he latterly played with Ilkeston Brass Band. Reg was also a keen gardener and enjoyed woodwork. A private funeral was held at 9.30am on Wednesday 22nd April.
