Alison - it's by sheer chance that someone has passed on an old photo of the two of us at SBS and after searching on line have just found out about Stuart. I'm so sorry to hear the news - my heart goes out to you, Laura and Joseph. With much love - Julie (was Skelton, now Cawood) x

Very sorry to hear the sad news about Stuart. I have not seen him for many years since the days he hung about with Mike Pem, but he was a lovely man. Sending my sincere condolences. Louise Le-Saint.

Dear Alison, Our thoughts are with you, Laura & Joseph. The tributes from colleagues and patients say it all. We remember Birty with great fondness from those wonderful times we spent as junior surgical trainees at York District Hospital. The world will be a lesser place without him.
