Maria ElizabethWALKER66 Years old of Chaddesden, Derby, lost her fight for life on 25th March 2020. She was a loving Wife to her Husband Tony and caring Mother to each of her children Darron, Poppy and Adam. Maria, who was known as Nanny and Nanar Chocolate to her seven Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren has left a loving imprint on each of their hearts. A funeral service for Maria will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium on Wednesday 8th April 2020 at 4.30pm. Unfortunately due to the recent situation, only immediate family can attend the service, but please remember Maria in your own way and we will be having a celebration of Maria's life later on this year. When a rose dies a garden dies And my rose has gone forever One day we will meet again In the garden of Heaven Where I will meet my rose again. Thank you for the memories.
Despite being the straight talker we all loved . 30 years in my life and truly never a crossed word. No Mother in Law jokes from me. You are the best!
The boys remember coming from school to put petrol in so they can wave to Nanny at work! How you always had ice creams in, always Choccie in the sh*t box, feeding the cat that wasn’t even yours and so much more. Apparently you would let them add two bags of crisps into one. You really were the ‘Original’’ Walkers mix up’s. Many fun times to remember in our humble lives.
