I remember Ruth as a friendly and helpful lady who was easy to get on with. I am a farmer whose land surrounds Aslockton Cemetery. Each autumn I cut the hedges from "our side " with my tractor and hedgecutter . Some years ago Ruth asked me to
hang my cutter over on the cemetery side to make the job easier for the gardener, and I was happy to oblige. Each year she would send me a card thanking me for what I had done. She was a lovely, thoughtful person who will be greatly missed.
