JohnHOGGPassed away peacefully at The Royal Derby Hospital on Monday 14th June 2021 aged 88 years. Devoted husband and best friend to Melba for 66 years. A much loved dad to Adrian and Miles, cherished grandpa to Abigail, Lucy and Daniel, a dear father in law to Heather and a friend to many. He will be greatly missed. Funeral service to be held at Bretby Crematorium, Carnarvon Chapel on Monday 5th July 2021 at 12 noon. Donations if desired are invited for Ward 306 at The Royal Derby Hospital and can be made at www.georgesimnett.co.uk. Floral tributes may be sent to George Simnett Family Funeral Directors Williams House, 77 Sitwell Street, Spondon, Derby, DE21 7FH. Tel: 01332 661195.

Thank you for all the happy memories, uncle John - you always brought a smile to my face. I am sure that you are back with my nanna and grandad, having a good old laugh together.

Your family did you proud today. Lucy, I don’t know if you will see this but I meant to say to you that what you said today was just so lovely and you did a wonderful job.
