FrankWALTON (5.8.33 - 24.5.20)5.8.33 - 24.5.20 Frank passed away peacefully in the attentive care of staff at Scunthorpe General Hospital on 24th May 2020 at the age of 86. Much loved husband of June, and devoted father to Susan, Sandra, Mark and Robert. Loved by all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A dear son to the late Charles and Beatrice Walton, a much-missed brother, uncle and friend to many. Frank will be sadly missed and always in our hearts. Private family funeral, which will be live-streamed, at Lea Fields Crematorium Gainsborough on Tuesday 9th June at 1:30pm, with a memorial service to be announced at a later date. Flowers may be sent to R Wallace & Son, Funeral Directors, 27 High Street, Crowle, DN17 4LD (01724 488565) where Frank is peacefully resting, or donations to Peggy's World CIC, Ashby may be sent c/o the funeral directors.

Frank helped me with marathon training when I was a newbie at Scunthorpe and District Running Club. We shared many happy miles back in the noughties. I will miss seeing his smiling face when I return to the running club when it resumes. He was a lovely man and will be sadly missed.
