MelLLEWELLYNIt is with great sadness that we announce that Mel of Wedgwood Farm has passed away after a short illness borne with courage and dignity on the 16th January 2021, aged 75 years. Mel was the beloved partner of Jan, loving son to the late Arthur and Iris, very dear brother to Antony and his partner Pauline. Mel was a former Teacher at Maryhill High School, Kidsgrove, he was also known as the quizmaster at Scrimmies Pub Smallthorne. He will be sadly missed by his family and fondly remembered by his many friends and neighbours. Funeral service and cremation at Carmountside Crematorium on Thursday 11th February at 2pm. Due to Government guidelines only 30 people are allowed to attend the service. No flowers by request, donations preferred for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
