George Arthur PatrickCLARKEof Thornton formerly of Glenfield. Much loved husband of the late Jeanne. Proud dad to Tim and the late Tracy and gentle father-in-law to Jo and the late Alan. Treasured grandad to Joe and Kerry, Liam, Jess and Mia. Loving great-grandad to Billy, Cain, George, Iyla, Bradley, Joseph, Thomas and Arya. Much admired uncle to Jim and David. Thoughtful friend to so many, past and present. George died peacefully at Leicester Royal Infirmary on Sunday 3rd October 2021, aged 91 years. Will be sadly missed by all whose lives George touched. Now back with his beloved Jeanne. George's funeral will take place at 11.00am on Wednesday 27th October 2021 at Gilroes. We would like to thank those of you who took time out to send us such kind messages and cards over these last few months. We also thank those who were able to attend George’s funeral or watch it online. A big thank you to all of the staff at Anstey and District Funeral Directors, especially Arran and Kerry and to Susan who led the service. Thank you all for the kind donations to the BHF in George’s memory and for the flowers sent. George, we will always miss you, with love from Tim, Jo, Mia and all of your family. Xx
