DavidGARRATTFormerly Whetstone Parish Councillor, An Inspirational Head Teacher at St Peter's Primary School, Whetstone, Former Diocesan Reader, and Enthusiastic Organic Gardener Passed peacefully away at his home on 15th October 2020. Missed by all who knew him, especially Kate and his brother Roger. There will be a private funeral service. No flowers please. My mum, Pam Fisher worked as a teacher at Whetstone Primary for many years under Mr Garrett. She's just told me that he made provision for her to retire at half term rather than wait til Xmas, which meant alot to her at that time, and that Mr Garrett was really a big softy - she recalls that rules were made to be broken... she has asked me to pass on condolences to the family.
