Dear David’s friends and family. I have just learnt through this site of David’s passing. David was a kind and generous man ,friend and colleague. Although I have not seen him for a long time we maintained contact and our friendship. I hosted his wedding reception to Nessa at Mayfield family centre in Leicester a, fabulously happy event. I will miss him, he was one of the best.

I was so sad today to hear of David Oldershaw’s passing. Such a lovely man, a great colleague and boss at Leicester City Council.
