RobertHARKNESS (Bob)(Low Fell) Peacefully on May 7th, aged 70 years Bob, a beloved husband of the late Martine, and a dear dad of Carl and Kevin. Bob will be very sadly missed by his many friends. The funeral will be held on the 28th May and due to the current crisis the family will be having a smaller event than they would have liked. Once things re-open again there will be a memorial held to celebrate their dad's life, where people can share all of their stories. Until then please reach out to the family if you so wish and any flowers may be sent to CM Walkers Funeral services. He was a great father who will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. May he rest in Peace. All enquiries to C. M. Walkers Funeral Services, Morley House, Front Street, Felling, Gateshead. (0191) 4470180.

So sad to hear that Bob has passed away, I worked with him for a lot of years at toys r us metrocentre where he was well known, especially for his bad jokes. He became part of the fixture and fittings. RIP Bob I’m sure we will all fondly remember you xx

I Have known Bob for over 65 years. A good lad. First memories are of playing in the back lane. He lived on Rectory Road and we lived in Windsor Ave. We bumped into each other regularly and always enjoyed a catch up. Sorry for your loss and he will be missed by all. So sad we cannot all attend the funeral. it would normally be full.

I am so very sorry to hear of Rob's passing. I went to school with him and met him a few times in more recent years. I will always remember him as a kind, funny and genuinely nice person.
