MichaelDOWNINGDOWNING Dr Michael Downing Suffered a severe stroke on Wednesday 25th March and sadly left us 24hrs later on the 26th. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, colleagues and patients. A family only service will be held on Tuesday 14th April. A memorial service will be held later in the Spring. Family flowers only please

Such a dear colleague and friend to all who knew him,. Mike will be so sadly missed by all of us, his impeccable manners, his sharp wit and intelligence. Sincere condolences to his wife and family. A life to be celebrated when we can all gather to remember him.

Lovely Dr, you use to have to get to the surgery really early if you wanted to see him, always had a full list. Seen me through 2 pregnancies and after care, nothing was never too much for him. Great with the kids as well, will be sadly missed.
