Heartbreaking that we can't be with you to say goodbye to Ger. She had a very special place in Mam and Dad's heart and was like a big sister to me, who happened to live down the road. Fondest memories are of Ger turning up in the evening to have a "sly fag" with Auntie Mollie and Uncle Jim!! Love from Maureen, Roy, Jack, Stephen and Fiona X

I was so sorry to hear of Ger's passing. She was such an influence on me both as a teacher and as a friend and colleague. I have a great deal to thank Ger for. As my first Head of Department she showed me what true leadership is. She mentored and guided me through the first 6 years of my career and I wouldn't be where I am today without her support, her confidence in me and her friendship. A wonderful woman, a fantastic teacher, an incredible mentor. Rest in Peace, Ger.

Aunty Ger:

Ger truly was the best Aunty we could wish for. She was compassionate, funny, sharp and always supportive. Hearing from Ger and being in her company brightened my day.

I hope you realised how loved you were.

We will miss you.

We’re so sad to hear about Ger she was so much a part of the family that became my family once I met Terence She was always visiting her Uncle Jim and Auntie Mollie
She was a kind thoughtful person and was with Terence and myself when Mollie passed away
I know she continued to visit her other aunts and uncles in Port Talbot regularly
She had a wicked dry sense of humour she will be sadly missed
Sorry we can’t meet up with you all at this present time hopefully one day
